You will join the foundation at an exciting time, with the opportunity to make a transformational impact. The foundation is in the public phase of a historic campaign to raise $3 billion to build a better future for Nebraska. The campaign is being led by many enthusiastic volunteers representing all areas of the University of Nebraska System. UNL anchors the campaign, with a goal of $1.5 billion from enthusiastic donors. This position will work in our Lincoln or Omaha office.

Ways you will make an impact:

  • Execute complex planned gift data entry in our relational donor database.
  • Complete project management for deferred planned gifts through the planned gifts confirmation project.
  • Manage administration of Charitable Gift Annuity portfolio by coordinating with an outside vendor and preparing documents.
  • Lead outside trust administration, including statements and outreach to trust officers.
  • Assist with estate administration and closing procedures including initial correspondence of estate intake.
  • Communicate and work closely with internal employees, including General Counsel and major gift officers.

What you need:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum Experience: 5 years’ experience in data management/analysis role. Preferred Experience: experience in fundraising or a non-profit organization.
  • Discretion in handling confidential matters.
  • Strong oral and written communication.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into usable information.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Computer experience in a PC environment; ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite and other software.
